Breaking the Silence: Sharing My Story of Childhood Sexual Abuse

After years of silence, I found the strength to come forward and share my story of childhood sexual abuse. Determined to make a difference, I embarked on a journey to change the bill, to reform a system that had failed survivors for far too long. My courage to speak out ignited a spark inside my self to be brave and my hope was for legislative changes to better protect survivors and hold perpetrators accountable. It was a challenging and emotional journey, but it demonstrated the power of one survivors voice in advocating for change and fostering a safer, more supportive world for all who have endured abuse.
