Hey Sis
Welcome to this sacred space—built from pain, resilience, and the kind of strength they never warned us we’d need. She Wasn’t Ready is more than a blog. It’s a truth-telling, soul-healing corner of the internet for women who were thrown into life unprepared, unprotected, and unheard.
This is for the little girl in you who was never given a safe space to cry.
For the woman in you who’s been surviving on empty, while still showing up for everyone else.
For the soul in you that craves peace, softness, clarity—and doesn’t want to carry the trauma anymore.
I wasn’t ready for the abuse.
I wasn’t ready for the silence.
I wasn’t ready to raise myself or to come face to face with my pain in public places—like state capitols and cold bedrooms.
But I’ve grown. I’ve healed. I’ve evolved into a spiritual woman who meditates, who breathes through the ache, who prays with candles lit, and who finally understands:
my story is not my shame. It’s my power.
You’ll find truth here. Raw stories. Healing conversations. Resources. Reflection.
And maybe, most of all—a reminder that you’re not alone.
You weren’t ready either.
But baby girl, you’re still here. And that means something.
Welcome home 💛
— A little lady who wasn’t ready, but is rising anyway
Surviving abuse and managing mental health challenges can feel like an overwhelming journey, but it is a journey made possible one small step at a time. Each day can bring struggles, whether it’s coping with past trauma or dealing with the emotional scars abuse leaves behind. Moving forward requires incredible strength and resilience. There will be days when progress feels slow, or when old wounds seem fresh again, but remember that healing isn’t a straight line—it’s a winding road with peaks and valleys.
Conquering mental health issues involves learning new ways to cope, sometimes with the help of therapy, support groups, or loved ones. Setting small, achievable goals can create a sense of accomplishment, reminding us that each step counts. Some days, even getting out of bed or going through daily routines can feel like victories. Practicing self-compassion is key, especially when setbacks occur. Replacing self-judgment with kindness can provide a safe foundation for true healing.
Over time, each small effort builds up, and what once seemed impossible becomes a little more manageable. Surviving abuse is a testament to inner strength, and every single step forward is a victory worth celebrating
Why, SHE WASNT READY LLC
Here are some key purposes for my SUPPORT SITE:
1. Educating and Informing: I felt that blogging can be a powerful tool to educate and inform people about important issues, topics and causes. I will provide well-researched and insightful content, to help gain a deeper understanding of various subjects and raise awareness about issues that matter.
2. Promoting Social and Environmental Causes: When I was building the blog site my first thoughts were that it could be used to promote social responsibility and environmental consciousness.
3. Advocating for Change: Main goal is to serve as a platform to advocate for positive change and inspire action. By presenting well-argued perspectives on relevant issues, I might be able to get others to support various causes and participate in efforts to bring about positive transformations.
4. Building a Community: I would like to foster a sense of community among like-minded individuals who care about similar causes. By creating a space for discussions and interactions, hoping to encourage collaboration and support among your readers.
5. Empowering Others: I would LOVE to empower individuals by sharing stories of success, resilience, and overcoming challenges. If I could at least affect one person to believe in their own potential and take action to make a difference, I would feel the greatest sense of accomplishment.
6. Raising Awareness about Mental Health and Wellbeing: I would like this site to be a platform to educate people about health and wellbeing, hopefully that can improve their overall quality of life.
Statistics show you that around 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys experience a form of sex abuse before turning 18. These numbers might seem scary, but it's essential to remember that speaking up and seeking help is powerful.
“She Wasn’t Ready” is a raw and real space where I share my story—and the stories of other women—who were thrown into life without a manual. From childhood abuse to adult betrayal, from resilience to rebuilding, this blog is about turning pain into power and silence into voice. You are not alone—and we are not broken. We’re rising, one truth at a time.
